Monday, August 16th.

The Phillies game was great.......it was awesome...... it was grawesome. Well, the game and the party bus are far behind us at this point, so I'll go back to posting the lunches without any mention of office funtimes. Because you're all jealous, I know.
Just kidding. You know me guys, I gotta put these pictures up. They're just wasting away otherwise.

Lunch, by the way, getting back to reality, was a chicken parm hoagie. Which is apparently different than the sandwich version. Different rolls, homies, that's what makes it seperate sandwiches. The sandwich comes on a kaiser. The hoagie comes on a long roll. DUH that makes them so obviously better.

That's Ginger. That is also the sandwich. I'll explain.

THE RATING-
Today was a pretty high Opa kind of day. 4/5 Opa's which is actually pretty normal for Barb, but it was highly praised. Much better than the chicken parm sandwich, the hoagie/grinder used grilled chicken instead of the fried chicken used on the kaiser roll version. The cheese was generous and it was smothered in sauce--nay--gravy. Also, they toasted the roll, which is a favorite thing.

But who is Ginger? Oh, I'll get to that. She's new. She's one of the two new people who started today. The other's Georgie. I'll talk about them more next post.

Monday, July 25th

I'm back from vacation! So I'll finally (I know, it's been ages, right?) be able to tell you what the lovely Barb ate for lunch this week.

Starting off the week (Monday, July 25th) waaaaaaaaas:

The Roast Beef Hoagie

No actual pictures yet, sorry folks. It turns out that nobody took pictures while I was gone, and as I was in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, I couldn't get pictures either. This one looks pretty good, so let's just pretend that's what Barb actually ate.

Rating: 4/5 Opa's
Description: The roll was fresh and the meat was moist. Not too much description, but come on, it's a sandwich, there's not really too much to say. So far, the hoagies have been getting a great review, but we haven't gotten to the weird ones yet.

July 22nd.

No pictures today, so I'll just use a stock image.

Food: Ham hoagie, provolone cheese.
Picked by: Sheila.

This is from Romano's drive-in, not Famous Georges. I apologize for sticky-fingering this image, but I don't have a camera or the drive to go and find the rest of Barb's lunch.

THE RATING

4.5/5 Opa's (see, because Famous Georges is Greek. So witty! Sheila came up with that.)

-Roll was fresh and nice, there was just the right amount of oil, and it was good. That was the exact words out of the very mouth of Barb about the sandwich. I thought it looked pretty good, considering. Also, it's 102 out right now, so I imagine it was pretty refreshing. Overall, good choice. Bravo, Sheila, I look forward to the rest of this.

*I will be going on vacation (I know, be jealous) until Thursday, so Barb's next lunch update will include four lunches, and will be coming on either Thursday or Friday. It'll be a big deal, since Jay the mailman is picking Monday's lunch.
