Monday, August 01st.

Happy Monday, everyone! Today's a bright shiny day in our little old office because they finally revealed the secret identity of my blog. Yes, it's true, we (Sheila, Barb and yours truly) have been keeping whatseatingbarb under wraps until everyone important in the office came back.

It was met with middling fanfare, then everyone went back to eating.

*Special Report* Tina is on vacation. She's in New Mexico. Wonder if she'll bring the office back any souveniers, hmmm? Seems unlikely. Since Tina was on vacation, Famous George was working the counter today. No special surprises like the last time, but he did send over the special early for our inspection. (Roasted stuffed peppers.) The encounter between the slightly bewildered delivery boy and Krick was.....awkward.....to say the least.

THIS IS A DIRECT EXCERPT FROM BARB: Spaghetti with Clams. It is not something that I would normally choose for lunch, but it was very tasty.  It was very hot and the clam sauce was just right (not too strong or too weak).  I was a little surprised to see green olives with clams – but according to Sheila (the Greek Expert) they put olives in everything….it did come with a house salad which in my opinion goes with everything…..
